We booked the night canoetrip starting at 8.30 pm and ended around 11.30 pm. The nature was beautiful and Aivar, our guide was incredibly friendly and explained a lot about the nature and culture of estonia. Would absolutely recommend to anybody visiting estonia

Did the canoe trip and walk from Riisa. Was all down current and the gear worked well. Beautiful scenery and lots of bird songs. Taken care of very well once we arrived.

Great experience, beautiful nature. If you are in Estonia, you should deffinitely do a canoe trip in Soomaa.

Canoeing in twilight is an incredibly calm and peaceful thing to do. Walking with bog shoes and swimming in a bog lake is also recommended. Lunch was delicious, guides are nice and informative.

Eventhough It was pretty difficult trip because of a strong wind, we really enjoyed our canoe trip. The owner was really nice and was keen to reschedule our reservation when our car broke up. After you are done with canoeing, I strongly recommend to take the longer way through the national park instead of the shorter one, really worth it.

I can't recommend the canoe trips of Aivar Ruukel because of the following experience.We booked a canoe tour months ahead and got a confirmation that it will take place. We were really excited and looking forward to it.When our vacations in Estonia started we rented a car and drove from Tallinn to Soomaa nationalpark and booked an accommodation.When we went to the arranged place and time for the canoe tour we didn't meet any person. No one was there. We waited for 20 minutes.So we messaged Mr. Aivar Ruukel via whatsapp and we saw that he read the message but he didn't respond or took our calls. He simply ghosted us, instead of just being honest and telling us that he forgot this appointment in his schedule.We're very dissappointed by this very bad service, rude behavior and the lost time.P.S.If you book one of his tours make sure you message him every day to make sure he won't forgot the appointments.

Very clear instructions and offered assistance when needed (such as when my shoe was stuck in the mud and it took two of us a couple minutes to get it out). Toilet was available at the start (and end), as well as having one available near the picnic table you can stop at in the middle. Jackets and waterproof buckets were provided. You are driven to the start of the trip and given a map with options on where to stop off (the bog was amazing!), and you end back at the beginning. Paid with cash - unsure if you can pay with card so if you must I would reach out beforehand to be sure.

A little bit late to review, but we loved our canoe trip in August and Aivar was extremely helpful! We got picked up in Parnu and everything went smoothly, the river was not big, but we were there completely alone and love it!

Booked a Bogshoe walk and Kanu trip just 1 day in advance. The tour guide was very flexible and accommodating. If they are booked out on the website, just give them a call.Bogshoe walk: one of the best experiences in Estonia. Our Guide Edu gave us many insight into the big and surrounding nature. Finished the walk with a quick Bog swim. Bring a towelKanu trip: they drive you upstream and you can take your own time to paddle down. Took us 1,5 h but relaxing pace. Suitable for beginners.Overall really good experience, accommodating and friendly staff
