Merchants House Hotel

Awesome location, right on the main square, close to everything!Great and kind service!Breakfast is nice.Rooms are old and not lighted enough, and there is no elevator. It was still very nice and we enjoyed our stay there a lot!

Such a lovely hotel. The hosts were very helpful and made sure you enjoyed your time in Tallinn. The room was gorgeous and the breakfast was excellent. I would recommend staying here, it is one of the best hotels I have stayed at recently.

We got an upgrade and got the suite. It was just as we hoped: huge room, unique design and a bathtub. The service was great and the location perfect. We recommend the English breakfast, it was a nice warm option.

Breakfast: Excellent service and unbelievable hospitality. We came with an early ferry, and the place opened at 7:00. Continental buffet -type breakfast where you could also order steaming hot dishes such as eggs, bacon, spinach etc. There were plenty of seats in a cozy stone cellar. The host was kind enough to let us leave our belongings to a storage room for the day even though we weren't hotels guests, but only there for breakfast. In addition we got travel tips and a nice chat!

I highly recommend Merchants House Hotel.Room: The room is clean but small. I didn't like how the bathroom sink was right next to the shower, as I could never walk in with my socks on.Location: Very conveniently located. 30 seconds from the main square of the city yet not loud.Service: This is where Merchants House Hotel shines. The employees at the front desk were extremely helpful and tried to help me have the best experience of the city. Also, when I came back to the hotel soaked in rain, the owner kindly gave me a cup of coffee for free.The breakfast exceeded my expectations. Given the overall ambience of the hotel, I had expected a modest breakfast buffet you find at 3-4 star hotels. It was much better than that both in terms of variety and quality.

It's so close to town square you can see it from the window. It was shockingly quiet for being in the center, neither in the hotel or outside I didn't hear a sound all night. Staff was super friendly. No breakfast buffet, but they offered to make hot food. Our room had a bathtub, which was funny!

I loved this place. Old building and very well situated in middle of old town.Beautiful rooms. Presidential suite was super cool! Rooms are beautifully decorated and clean.Breakfast was good and good quality.Staff was very friendly.I will definitely come back.
