There has been a town hall in Tallinn since at least 1322 and a town square next to it ever since then. The hall was rebuilt from 1402 to 1404 into its current form, and a Christmas tree display has been held in the square since 1441, making the Tallinn Christmas tree display over 580 years old

It is an impressive medieval town hall, and the surrounding streets are equally captivating. The Tallinn Old Town is proudly included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Great place to eat in the summer, we loved it and the price is fair. The front and left side of the square offer the best variety in food.

Nice town hall square with beautiful buildings and architecture. Beautiful torn hall. Many old buildings are there in the town hall, one of the oldest drug storesin Europe is here. Lots of restaurants here.

Restaurants, Ice cream parlour, wine shops, souvenirs stores. All is there. Beautiful sunny day with lot of Tourists in the month of June, July, Aug, Sept.

Went during Christmas period, for the famous Christmas market!Truly magical at night time!The square is extremely clean, bright and well maintained. Unlike other cities the square felt safe and comfortable to be around at night and in the day without worry.
