Great place to visit, very informative in regards to the history of the KGB, very small place but definitely worth a look while in the old town.

Okay let's say it right now, this is a really complex and quite cruel part of (USSR dominated) Estonian history. If you are able to, take a combined ticket with the Vabamu museum, it will give you a thoroughly thought context.Now about the museum, or rather the former cells, you have to immerse yourself in the lives of the victims of that system : you live in an extremely bureaucratic authoritarian state where every contestation is repressed, what are you doing now? And even if you did nothing wrong on your side, how are you keeping yourself safe from the authoritarian regime ?In this museum, while quite short, you will hear about those who resisted but also the truly non disruptive folks being interogated. What could you expect from an interrogation? What were the risks ? And how could you get yourself out of it ?There is no definitive answer and you can only figure the whole situation out by paying a visit here.

Useille tuo oli kuulusteluselli josta matka jatkui Siberiaan tai jossain vaiheessa teloitukseen. Ei tuolla paljon nähtävää kuitenkaan ole - mielikuvituksella voi jatkaa. Varmasti dokumentit kaikesta oli huolellisesti hävitetty.

Davvero pessimo. Non vale sicuramente i soldi spesi. 4 stanze con pannelli informativi e nulla di più. Il palazzo esternamente è bellissimo e sicuramente racconta un pezzo di storia terribile, ma le prigioni sono la classica trappola per turisti. A mio avviso ci sono tanti altri musei a Tallinn che vale sicuramente la pena visitare, ma non questo.
